Fifteen years of relative sameness perhaps were one selling and servicing a well established product. But challenging years when indulging in the quaint pursuit of hawking human power augmented, a.k.a. electric bikes and folding bikes.
The early years weathered evolving designs, service issues, an eclectic bunch of manufacturers and distributors as well as eventually thoroughly deflated sales expectations.
Among early year brands we have enjoyed a continuous involvement with Giant Bicycle Company. Our business decisively established itself in 2002 with the introduction of the highly accomplished, and reliable beyond belief, Giant Lite with NiMH batteries.
In 2004 we opened the doors of Folding Bikes West. Visitors are typically amazed to learn what these intriguing folders uniquely offer the cyclist. We sold then, and still sell, the full lines of Brompton, Dahon and Giant folders.
Several electric brands came and went. Among current offerings we added the eZee line in '06, the Giant Twist in '08 , the iZip Express in '09 and in 2010 the Dahon Boost.
Customer satisfaction for bikes bought, supported and serviced from and by us has been climbing gratifyingly. In the last few years just about all of our customers seem quite pleased with their purchases—and even tell us so, thank you!

Shall a U.S. economy that can only worsen prove a detriment or opportunity for electric and folding bicycle sales?
Be that as it may we hope to keep facilitating new electric bike customers with the elation of quietly surging down the road, agreeably cresting hills and arriving at their destinations crisp and presentable, having expended exactly the amount of joyful effort desired on the ride.
Most of our customers continue to find that moderately powered, highly bicycle akin electric bike models—which apply power through pedal activation of the intuitive torque sensing kind—best fulfill their expectations.
Of folding bikes our manufacturers keep offering an ever broader selection of outstanding and stylish folding bikes, which ride fabulously, are easy to straddle and fold compact, crisply and quickly.
Our store strives to provide an unhurried, informative and enjoyable sales environment—devoid of in-your-face marketing, overly friendly sales staff, confounding specials, yo yo-ing pricing, price tags ending in 99, canned sales talk, cheesy promotions and free trinkets.
