From 2006 til 2009 we imported eZees strictly for our own and affiliated stores with no distributor ambitions beyond that. Subsequently the manufacturer Shanghai eZee Kinetics Technology Co. Ltd made other import arrangements in the hope of achieving national U.S. distribution of their bikes. As per a recent announcement this is evidently yet to be accomplished.
You'll however note from the announcement the manufacturer "will continue to support warrant and service directly with the dealers" and "honour all warranty issues". This means us.
Our Seattle store remains committed to fully supporting—in full and amiable cooperation with the manufacturer—the original owners of eZee bikes bought, and yet to be bought, from us.
Our service department may by now be the most experienced also with eZee bikes and stocks ample parts with the manufacturer having assured us of an ongoing supply.
eZees models with 26" and 700c wheels incorporate a 350W motor and surge swiftly, smoothly and comfortably up to the 20 mph limit legally allowed for an 'electric-assisted bicycle'. All models use the same lockable, quick release 36V/10AH/7lb Li-Ion battery. 2A smart charger for charging the battery on or off the bike.
eZees come fully accessorized: fenders, chain guard, rear rack (with cargo strap), speedometer (on full sized models), bell, LED gauge and bright front + rear lights (powered by the propulsion battery).
Full sized eZee models assemble by us as either throttle (twist grip) controlled or pedal activated (of the rotation sensing design with a handle bar power level adjustment knob). One or the other—not both.
