Notes:
(1) Nominal motor Wattage may not be the actual power delivered where the rubber literally meets the road (see article "What's Watt"). Customers test riding overwhelmingly find that the 250W Giant Twist does as well or better on Seattle's steep hills than other brands of 350/450W.

(3) Assumes concurrent moderate pedaling.
(4) Range (distance per fully charged fairly new, warm battery) is of course a direct function of power drawn from the finite capacity battery. Range unavoidably varies with a number of factors, i.e. rider weight, pedaling effort, power application, terrain, road conditions, speed, stop-and-go and condition of the bike and roadway. Figures given in the table are 'real life and traffic conditions with hills and assuming modest-to-moderate pedaling'. Some riders report greater range, some less.
