Dahon Boost Electric Folding Bike

This new 20" wheeled model is elegant, well integrated, smooth, light, strong on hills and comes fully equipped.

Dahon has with the Boost produced an electric folder that folds just as quickly, easily and compact as their non-electric high end models. The Boost folds to a mere 14 x 26 x 33". Indeed, just as.
And for those a bit tired of folded folders, which flop around as untidy packages: The Boost rather stays securely folded with Dahon's 'magnet click' locking feature.
The Boost is intuitively pedal activated (torque sensing) with a bottom bracket placed drive system, incorporating a 24V/250W motor connected through a unique crank axle drive. Like the Panasonic folder (no, we can think of no higher praise!), which we had the privilege to test market a few years ago, the Boost appears highly energy efficient and a delight to pedal (also in power settings 'low' and 'off') why its nominally mere 5 AH battery shall provide quite an adequate range for many a rider and rides.
Handle bar controls and gauges include power setting (three), state of charge and a 'light up the night' front light.
