Bikes arrive unassembled from factory to dealer. A bicycle subsequently absolutely needs to be assembled, tuned and adjusted by a competent technician to assure safety, maximize longevity and rider enjoyment as well as to activate the warranty.
At this time we ship Bromptons from Seattle WA with FedEx direct to the Customer: 'Just unpack, unfold and ride!'. Bike Fridays ship customer-direct from the factory in Eugene OR. The Giant Twist is not shipped. eZees are not shipped while we expect to resume shipping the eZee Quando folder in the Fall.
Bikes are packed with great care to minimize shipping damage, which has been rare over the years. Please note however that in order to consider a damage claim the shipping companies absolutely require that the receiver (= bike customer) notes any damage immediately on actual delivery, retains the original packaging and promptly files a claim. Our freight rates include insurance. Regret but we cannot be responsible for shipping damage or delay.
