Ride With a Helmet
Unless you have mastered the art of sailing slowly through the air and of landing only on cushy, welcoming surfaces and immobile objects with well rounded corners, we must insist on all test riders wearing a helmet. The only possible exception may be test rides by woodpeckers.
A Seattle city ordinance (worded differently from the paragraph above, in case you were wondering) mandates the wearing of a helmet by riders of all ages.
In case you feel you do not need to wear a helmet because you plan to ride only in our parking lot please consider that:
- Enthusiasm gets the better of most test riders after surging away on our fabulous bikes and they find themselves unable to confine their riding to just the parking lot.
- What indeed shall a test rider learn by just staying on a level parking lot? Even our competitors' bikes ride passably on parking lots.
- Accidents do happen also on parking lots.
