The new Tikit adds a pure folder model to Bike Friday's distinguished line of travel bikes. It folds quickly and uniquely ("no quick releases or fiddly latches, just lift, swish, click, fold/unfold - in, oh, 5 seconds flat") to 15 x 24 x 35". Weight 25 lbs. Price $1,295. Bag $50. Front pannier rack $50. Now sold in our Seattle, WA and Oceanside, CA stores. Several Tikit higher end versions are now available, as well as the $995 black only Model T.

Bike Friday manufactures the new Tikit folder and its world renowned, built-to-order, superbly riding travel bicycles bikes in Eugene, Oregon. The latter are actually take-apart models typically brought along in a Bike Friday hardcase. The New World Tourist, Pocket Rocket and/or Pocket Lama are available in our Seattle and Oceanside stores for test rides.

Yes but distinctively so. The other Bike Friday models are take-apart travel bikes, while the Tikit is a true folder. It folds in seconds with no parts to remove. Not since the Brompton have we seen anything as clever and accomplished. All Bike Fridays are actually manufactured in Oregon. Tikit prices start at $995.
