Not that long ago folding bikes did not ride well or even fold that well. (Frankly some current makes/models may still languish in one or both of these categories).
Now a few brands—prominently among them Brompton, Dahon and Giant—offer bikes which ride and handle superbly and fold quickly with ease and crisp predictability.
Some of our customers are buying their folders as much for the fabulous ride and style as for the convenient fold: Experience for yourself the elation of the nimble ride of a well designed small wheeled bicycle. Does a 20" wheeled bike 'ride better' than a 16" one? Not if the 16" wheeled bike is a Brompton.
